Still in Annapolis October 11

Just after my sisters left for South Bend and today's Notre Dame game our water tank gave out. We thought we had a leak but could not find it. We called Diversified the people who fixed our head problem and they have rescheduled everything once again for us and will do the work.
That was the easy part now we had to find a dock. Fortunately with assistance from the always helpful Harbor Master we have a dock at Eastport Yachting Center.

Once again it is a pain that the water tank broke, the generator impellor gave out and the pluming hose  clogged beyond it ability to work, but at least we are in Annapolis where we can get parts and repairs.
I will show you a picture of the tank so as those of you who wish you where hear will have something to gloat about.

Last night we met up with Robert and Peggy Van Tassel and their friends The Grottoli's. Robert and Peggy own an identical Tartan. We had connected through a crusing site and agreed to meet in Annapolis. They could not go south this year but did drive down for the show from New York City. Robert thought it should be nice to get together and it was. We will not find a more congenial foursome on this trip.
We had another excellent dinner at Pusser's and got back to the boat before the rain or maybe between the rain.
We had originally planned to go to the show today and leave tomorrow, but with the rain and hot water delay we will stay on the boat today and go to the show tomorrow.

  1. Hi Bill, I am glad we had the opportunity to visit last Friday. Dinner was great and it was a fun evening. Peggy, and our friends Flori and Claudio also enjoyed meeting you. We wish we were going south with you! May be we could arrange a rendezvous when you come north in the spring . Peggy and Bob, "Margret Gale"
