Progress being made

We have just crossed The Potomac River. While we have travelled 6 or 7 hundred miles tonight we will be only about 400 miles south of Toronto. In the last two days we have traveled about 80 miles south. Fall comes to the Chesapeake and we would like to get south quickly now.

The south mark for the Potomac

Today there is no doubt we are not alone going south as we left The Soloman's we were in a parade of about 12 boats with many more a dead and behind. A steady stream of mostly sail boats going south. A lot of theboatswe left with this morning where Canadian.

The boats also all look small when you think we are all going to live on them for the better part of a year. As an example this is a 50 foot power boat which past us.
