Saying goodbye to Charlie

In 1989 Charlie Plaxton and I bout a C&C 27 calling her Irish Mist. for the next 5 years Charlie and I along with crew races her in about 50 races or regattas a year. Charlie's funeral was held in Kingston last Tuesday. Trish and I left Rochester Monday, but rather then head west and home we turned east towards Gananoque and on to Kingston the next day.

Gananoque is about half an hour from Kingston and the center of the Thousand Islands where we spend 2 to 4 weeks each year on Irish Mist. The following pictures are the view from our room and loooking up and down the St Lawrence River.
