Since we had all gone to Mass on Christmas Eve all we had to do on Christmas was open presents and cook a turkey or two. We decided on two small turkeys rather then one big one.
after presents it was decided we would go for a sail. Actually we motored due to number on board and time constraints. It was a little bouncy on the ocean which caused some discomfort, but no one got sick.
In order to get to the ocean we had to go through two opening bridges. On our return we needed to to the same.
As we got out into the ocean proper we had a visit from the coast guard. They came up from behind and appeared to be counting life jackets. Trish Kelly and I had our inflatable jackets on while all the grand children were wearing children's jackets courtesy of Kakawi the yacht beside us. They counted the jackets then speed off without actually talking to us.
