Day 76 Nov 06

We headed out today about 9:30. Our intention was to go about 40 miles and anchor. We were doing fine untill we passed McCellanville. We knew there was shallow water, but thought we would be careful and get through. 

All of a sudden the power boat which had just passed us stopped. They had less then 5 feet. We followed them for a little then heard that another boat further ahead had even less water. We decided to turn around and go back a mile to McCellanville. As we turned in we went aground. After waiting fifteen minutes we backed up and followed a fishing boat in.

Tomorrow we will get up early and go through in high water. We will plan it to arrive at The Isle de Palms Bridge about two hours before low tide.
