The Blue Heron Bridge

This is the bridge which we hit with our mast last November. We went under the next day at low tide and only touched the top of the antenna. To day we went under at low tide and did not even touch the antenna. We are now in early at Loggerhead Marine Palm Beach Gardens. We stopped early today and got in before 2:00 PM.

A bit of a hiccup

Just as we thought we could not be beaten the bridge mistress of the Lake Ave Bridge told us she would not be opening for two hours. just after 10 she radioed us to say she was going to have a practice lift and we were welcome to go through.

Day One and a Half

We found we had a nice weather opening on Monday and Tuesday April 27 - 28. At the last minute we decided to get go to Key Biscayne and No Name Harbour Monday evening arriving about 7:00 PM. Tuesday morning we were off at 7:00 AM for a sail, yes I said sail to Fort Lauderdale.
Once at Fort Lauderdale we had about 15 bridges to get by, not under. At 4:30 we arrived at Delray Harbour Club and Marina. An excellent day now tomorrow we have to get under the Blur Herron Bridge the one we hit in November with our mast.

Our Plane to Florida

I know most of you do not get excited about air travel. Some of you may even understand it and no longer feel it is a miracle. When I was first married I did a lot of flying. On one trip went more then half way around the world, but since then I have done very little. Thus a flight to Miami is a big event.
West jet gave us a great flight and we all arrived safely.

On our way Home

Today at 3:45 PM Trish, Kelly and I left Black Point which had been IM's home for four months.
It was sad to say goodbye to Barry and Stacey, but we want to get back for around the second week of July, this year.

Flying Yachts

Yesterday was launch day for our parking lot boats. Our haul out basin can only handle 13 feet 8 inches in width. Wider yachts go to the parking lot or a private haul out. Irishmist got around it by staying in Miami for the winter.
This is us next year.
